Knoxville small business owner receives prestigious award - Ms. Kathy D. Smith, President and CEO of NetGain Corporation received the U. S. Small Business Administration’s Regional Minority Small Business Person of the Year Award for Region IV. This award is intended to recognize minority business excellence, perseverance, dedication and commitment. Ms. Smith accepted the award at a ceremony in Nashville on September 23rd. Ms. Smith’s remarks while accepting the award included thanking the SBA for their commitment to helping small businesses like NetGain succeed. Providing a full suite of personnel security services to government and commercial clients, NetGain Corporation has over 150 employees between their corporate headquarters in Knoxville and additional office locations in Oak Ridge, TN and Albuquerque and Carlsbad, NM.
